I used flowkey for a few weeks, it didn’t really click for me. Some parts I actually needed help understanding felt like they were skipped over, while the easier stuff got repeated more than necessary. To me, it felt less like I was learning piano and more like I was just following along with the lights. I can see how it might work for someone who wants something very simple and guided, but for me, it wasn’t worth it

I used flowkey for a few weeks, and I kept wondering if I was doing something wrong. The practice feedback felt really hit or miss for me. Sometimes it wouldn’t catch notes I’m sure I played correctly, and other times it said I was right when I knew I wasn’t. Maybe it works better for other people or with a different setup, but for me it made practicing more frustrating than helpful. For the price, I expected it to feel a lot more reliable.

I really wanted this to help with practice, but the note detection is, it just keeps missing notes that I know I’m playing correctly. It gets frustrating fast, especially when I’m trying to focus and suddenly I’m second-guessing myself instead of actually practicing.

I thought canceling my plan would be simple, but it ended up being a real hassle. I had to dig around for the right option and, actually, no, it wasn’t just digging around, it felt like they made it way too difficult on purpose. Not a great experience

I tried using flowkey when I was already in a relaxed mood and just wanted to practice a bit, but it ended up frustrating me. The lessons felt like they jumped around in a strange way, and the app didn’t feel very smooth to navigate. It took me way too long to find what I was looking for, and after a while I just gave up.

I tried using Flowkey on my older Android tablet, but it kept lagging and freezing the whole time. I couldn’t even get through one lesson, which was really frustrating. That part was weird because the app opened fine, it just became basically unusable once I started practicing

I tried flowkey as a total beginner, i felt kind of lost quickly. The songs are nice, and the app looks good, but it moved faster than I thought it would, or actually, maybe I just needed more hand-holding at the start. A lot of the time I wasn’t really sure what I was doing wrong.
I can see it being better if you already know a few basics, but coming in with no experience, it didn’t feel super beginner-friendly to me. I would’ve liked more slow explanations and really simple practice before jumping straight into playing songs.

I reached out to support twice and, honestly, actually, I emailed them twice hoping for some kind of helpful answer, but I didn’t get anything useful back. It was frustrating to be left hanging like that.

The app keeps lagging and then just freezes right in the middle of a lesson, which is super frustrating. Like, I’ll press play and it starts for a second, then crashes, and I have to reopen it all over again. I actually like using it when it works, but this keeps happening at the worst time.

The lessons were fine overall, but I never really felt pushed to keep practicing. After about a week, I just stopped opening it. What annoyed me even more was that the terms seemed to change after I signed up, which made the whole thing feel a bit frustrating.

I signed up mainly for the song library, so I was let down once I started browsing. It feels way smaller than I expected, and a lot of the songs I actually wanted just aren’t there. What makes it more frustrating is that there are tons of versions I don’t really care about instead. I’ve already reached out about it because this really isn’t what I thought I was paying for, and if the selection doesn’t improve, I’ll probably cancel. Just not worth it for me right now

I was working through it like normal, finishing sections here and there, and then later I’d come back and it was like none of it counted. It kept losing track of what I’d already completed, which got frustrating fast.

Some of the lessons were decent, but after a bit it started feeling repetitive and kind of limited. I also didn’t love how much effort it took to figure out canceling, it really should’ve been more straightforward. Overall, I wouldn’t pay for it again.
